HERO Financing

Cool Comfort Financing

Projects must include one of the following duct improvements to ensure HVAC efficiency:

  • Combination of duct sealing and duct insulation sealed to at least 10% leakage and insulated R-8 or greater.

  • Duct replacement sealed to at least 6% leakage with R-8 greater replacement ducts.

Home Energy Loans

To qualify, ensure you meet each of the following:

  • Property must be an owner-occupied, single family detached residence.

  • Projects must be enrolled in a Home Upgrade rebate and incentive offering.

  • Property must be served by Southern California Edison (SCE) and/or Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas®).

Statewide Clean Energy Upgrade Finance Program

Low fixed-rate loans offered throughout all of California for Energy Efficiency projects through Matadors Community Credit Union. 

  • Qualified contractors must be participants in Energy Upgrade California and BPI certified.

  • Energy assessment needs to show improvement of 10% or more in energy usage from proposed energy efficiency measures.

  • Solar can be done concurrently or after energy efficiency measures.
