Participating Procedure

To participate in the SGV Go Green Program, simply follow four easy steps:

Fill out and submit the SGV Go Green application, and be sure to include a scanned copy of your business license (for businesses) or your 501(c)(3) determination letter (for nonprofits). If your organization is a school or library, there is no need to attach any other documents.

Once the application is received, an assessor will follow up to schedule your Go Green Assessment. Your energy adviser will walk you through the SGV Go Green checklist to help highlight where your business or nonprofit can become more energy efficient.

After your assessment is completed, your adviser will work with you and your staff to complete a Go Green Action Plan for your organization.

Show off your energy efficient accomplishments by displaying SGV Go Green information materials at your organization! Your energy advisor will deliver your materials or you can e-mail us to request materials be dropped off to your business.

All it takes is 4 easy steps to make your business/nonprofit and community more energy efficient!
